400 East Construction to Begin November 30
Construction is scheduled to begin November 30, 2009 on the Springville portion of the Central Utah Water Conservancy District’s Spanish Fork Provo Reservoir Canal Pipeline. The project is scheduled to be completed by November 30, 2010. The contractor will be COP construction under the direction of the Central Utah Water Conservancy District and Springville City.
Beginning at 4th East and Highway 89, the project will run along 4th East in Springville eventually returning to Highway 89 before ending in Provo at the junction of State Road (Highway 89) and Slate Canyon Drive. During the upcoming months Springville citizens will be able to call a 24 hour/7 day hotline to have questions answered and to be updated on construction progress. A website will be established where you can view construction updates and see where work is in progress. Watch for the new hotline number and website coming soon.
