Springville, Payson and Eagle Mountain are among 14 member cities of Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems that get a share of a $1,165,772 federal energy conservation grant to go LED (light-emitting diode). It’s an understated improvement, but the savings will pile up quickly in energy consumption as well as money and man-power that go into replacing spent bulbs. Read full article from Daily Herald.
