Summer Send-off Beach Party & Cardboard Regatta

Join us for the the first-ever Summer Send-off Beach Party and Cardboard Regatta at Bartholomew Park!

Participants will bring their completed cardboard 2-person boats to race on Bartholomew Pond. Boats must be built of cardboard and duct tape only, but how you decorate your watercraft is up to you! Prizes will be given for a variety of categories, including Fastest Boat and Best Team Spirit. After the races, we will battle it out in a Swamping Competition where the last floating boat wins!

Participation in the Cardboard Regatta is free, but advanced registration required – no day-of registration is offered. For full rules and regulations, please follow the link to the registration information.

In addition to the Cardboard Regatta, there will be a variety of other free activity stations set up around the park. Activities include: Lawn Games, Watermelon Eating Contest, Face Painting, Chalk the Trail, and more! Concessions and Kona Ice will be on-site with snacks and treats for sale.
