We consider it an honor and a privilege to care for the grounds and features of your loved one’s resting place. Our dedicated cemetery grounds maintenance staff takes pride in maintaining our grounds to the highest standards possible. General maintenance includes regular mowing and trimming of the grass, filling holes from previous interments, tree care and leaf mulching and removal.
Whether you are interested in a space in one of our beautiful cemeteries or one of the cremation niches at the Historic Springville City Cemetery, we will assist you in selecting a point of remembrance that you can be proud of and that your loved ones can visit for years to come.
Springville City and Evergreen Cemetery personnel will start the Spring clean-up the second Monday of March at 7:00 a.m. Please remove decorations you have placed on your loved one’s graves before these dates or they will be removed and disposed of by cemetery personnel.
Flowers, floral arrangements, plants in vases, etc., will be removed without notice when the Sexton, or his staff, deem them to be unsightly due to age.
On Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, and Veterans Day, decorations will be left for seven days. Cleanup will occur on Monday, the week after the holiday and all decorations will be cleared from the cemetery and disposed of.
Decorations on flat headstones may be removed at any time to facilitate cemetery maintenance, except during the holidays mentioned above.
Decorations may remain in the cemetery from December 1 to the 2nd Monday of March (Spring clean-up) when all decorations are subject to removal.
Springville City is not responsible for theft, damage or destruction of any decorations or personal items left in the cemeteries.
All maps, records and other documents pertaining to the cemeteries are on file at the Community Services Building located at 443 South 200 East.
